Frequently Asked Questions
What are the Different types of Rum?
At Warwickshire Gin Company, we offer three unique rum expressions: Spiced Rums with warming botanicals, Honey Rums infused with local honey and citrus, and White Rums known for their clean, crisp flavour. Each one is handcrafted to showcase bold character and versatile serving options.
How is Rum made?
Rum is made by fermenting and distilling molasses or sugarcane juice. After distillation, it may be aged in oak barrels or filtered for clarity. We then infuse some of our rums with natural ingredients like honey or spices, creating smooth, flavourful spirits that reflect our distillery’s creative approach.
Does Rum go off?
Unopened rum can last for years without spoiling if kept in a cool, dark place. Once opened, we recommend enjoying it within 1–2 years, especially for infused varieties. Always reseal the bottle after use to preserve the flavours and aromas
What to mix with Rum?
Rum pairs beautifully with mixers like cola, ginger beer, and tropical juices. For a classic serve, try a Mojito or Daiquiri, or simply enjoy it over ice. Whether you’re after something refreshing or indulgent, there’s a rum mix for every moment.
What other Rum products do you offer?
Alongside our full-sized bottles, we offer beautifully packaged rum gift sets, miniature rum bottles, and indulgent rum chocolates, perfect for gifting, sampling, or treating yourself. Each one is crafted to bring a taste of Warwickshire’s artisan spirit to any occasion.
